i heard a group around a table with the visitor brother talking about how hard it was getting in the world with so many distractions and that many of the brothers were falling into the trap and leaving jehovahs organization.
Wouldn't it have great to be able to ask if all those at the table could be assumed to be among the 7,000,

It was just that one brother that had a response, the rest were dumbfounded when I asked the question. I wonder what would have happened if that brother/missionary was not there? He was a die-hard no doubt. "Evidently" he has been asked the question before and was now prepared.

Ever one was nodding yes and agreeing.
I couldn’t resist and I had to step in and try to ask a question to get them to think. I asked;
What if all the witnesses just started leaving the organization by the hundreds of thousands until the entire organization only had ONE MILLION member worldwide.
They all looked at me with their “eyes wide shut”
The visitor-missionary brother asks for a Bible and he opens it up and reads this to everyone;
(1 Kings 19:14) . . .To this he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies; for the sons of Israel have left your covenant, your altars they have torn down, and your prophets they have killed with the sword, so that I only am left; and they begin looking for my soul to take it away.”
(1 Kings 19:18) . . .And I have let seven thousand remain in Israel, all the knees that have not bent down to Ba′al, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”
The visitor brother then says to everyone;
“It doesn’t matter how many leave the organization, there will always be
“SOME”
“Faithful Followers” who will stick with Jehovah’s Organization”
“Am I right?”
And everyone started clapping and yelling all kinds of
stuff.I thought it was an ISIS rally!
I lost that round!!!!
i just wanted to express a simple thought.
having awakened 11 months ago , i feel blessed to have awakened at this special time.
i feel so vindicated.
In the long ago past, the "apostates" appeared they were looking for trouble. Now, we don't even have to try.

Just a few day ago I got into a heated discussion with an elder and when he couldn’t hold his own, he resorts to telling me- that I’ve been visiting apostate sites. I told him;
“No one has to look at any apostate sites. All they have to do is see one of the Governing Body members rant on TV about a Conspiracy that homosexual are planning to put every man on the planet in “Tight Pants”
If you can’t see how crazy and stupid that is……”
He had nothing to say after that.

i haven't included any things i would consider "apostate" specifics about doctrines, or major scandals.
it's just a general layout of the path i took to becoming an exjw.
I thought I was awake but I had to go back and go through this and realize I was wrong about one major thing. The witness religion is harmful! Extremely! I had lost my faith and still not realized this.
It’s a process waking up, but it’s also a process realizing
that the Witness religion is extremely harmful. It may actually take a while to realize this.
This because the religion itself is sugar-coated with some positive things. Many times the Dubs will defend their religion by saying that they are the only ones who stay away from fornication, adultery, stealing, lying, etc. But the fact is, they are just as guilty especially the Governing Body of those things just like every one else in every religion. They are just very good at hiding it and putting on a show of disfellowshipping those who practice such things. But we know that disfellowshipping is used not to remove practicers of sin but to put a showy display to the world that they are clean and to use it as a means to instill fear in their members.
They are guilty of murder and causing much harm with their policies of blood, organ transplants, vaccinations, neutrality, marrying, and tons of other harmful policies.
in view of the recent financial pressures being spun as opportunities to hasten armageddon, i think we should look again at the meaning behind their cultic warning of "all must be ready to obey intructions, whether appearing sound or not".
by dripping these creepy injunctions into the watchtower study and therefore into the conditioned and receptive mind of the jw, how long will it be before they are able to decree something like this?......

question, if a 1,000 jdub`s were given a truth drug how many (what percentage) do you think if asked two simple questions, do you enjoy witnessing?
& do you enjoy going to the meetings?
how many of them would say they really didn't want to do it?
Sorry I didn't elaborate Sabin, I meant to add a third question to both of yours. I wasn't directing the question to you. I wonder how they would respond to all three questions. I think there is a lot of faders going to the Kingdom Hall.

the "pre-letter" for the october 4 2015 letter is now posted to the jw.org for elders and it matches what had been leaked.. looks like we can confirm that the preliminary letter and the main letter are legitimate.. unbelievable!.
